The Research and Innovation Poles T.R.A.N.S.I.T. Technologies and Research, Network, Security and Intermodality in Transport) and S.O.S.I.A.Management of environmental risks and territorial control, Cybersecurity of critical infrastructures, Innovative ICT systems for the Intelligent Factory and automation) were established benefiting from the contributions provided by the P.O.R. Regional Operational Program 2014-2020 Objective “Investments in favor of growth and employment” Co-financed by F.E.S.R. – European Regional Development Fund – Action 1.2.4 “Support for the activities of animation, tutoring and tutoring of companies belonging to the Innovation Poles”.
SIIT is the organization managing entities the two Regional Innovation Poles SOSIA and TRANSIT
The SOSIA Pole – “Management of environmental risks and territorial control, Cybersecurity of critical infrastructures, Innovative ICT systems for the Intelligent Factory and automation”, associates about 90 Bodies, addressing innovation and planning in 3 application macro-domains:
- Management of environmental risks and territorial control
- Safety (Safety-Security-Cyber)
- Innovative systems for the Intelligent Factory and Automation
The TRANSIT Pole – “Technology, Research and Innovation Network Security Intermodality in Transport” associates about 70 Bodies, addressing innovation and planning in 3 application macro-domains:
- Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)
- Sustainable mobility
- Logistics and Ports
